I resolved to take an Instagram picture a day and post to the Web in July of 2012. This might sound slightly trite, but it has pushed me into noticing my environment a little more. Each day I get to know where I am living a little more. A widget automatically posted these pictures to this website. Ten years later, I decided that Instagram is not where I want to be. I will still try to post a daily picture.
Selected Instagram Pictures
Taken from the rooftop at The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection. Chicago has an epic skyline.
Taken just outside the Modern Wing of the The Art Institute. This picture nicely sums up winter in Chicago.
The Bean, otherwise known as “Cloud Gate.”
The Metropolitan Correctional Center. More fun to see from the outside, rather than from inside.
The El. How I travel to and from work.
The City of Big Shoulders still has a “working” river.
Taken in my back garden. No zooming or cropping, just standing very close to a confused baby bird (most likely a robin).
